Welcome to the BAE Index.

Andre Drummond Stylized Alley-Oop

The Detroit Pistons earned themselves a signature win against the Memphis Grizzlies Tuesday. Though it was a rather boring game, we did get one highlight out of it.

Andre Drummond had a bit of fun with this half court alley-oop, giving a little twist at the end for good measure. It was a good way to make a rare alley-oop against a stout Grizzlies defense a little more special. Reggie Jackson will make you believe

Leading the Pistons past the Grizzlies was Reggie Jackson, who had 23 points and 20… TWENTY assists. Jackson was wildly efficient, making 10 of his 18 shots and giving away dimes at a rate that would make Oprah jealous. He forces his way out of Oklahoma City because he wanted to reach his potential. No one knows what that is, but he probably couldn’t have had a game like this as a reserve on the Thunder.

So close, Bucks

On the last possession, with the game on the line, nothing is worse than losing your assignment on the inbounds play and giving up a wide open shot for the win.

Okay, I take it back. That’s the worst thing that could happen.

Gerald Henderson’s Alternative Posterization

If you are a slashing offensive player like, say, Gerald Henderson, putting someone on a poster (or through the GIF cycle) is not only a possibility–it’s a goal. So when Henderson had a running start and a chance to bully DeAndre Jordan, he went for it.

And Jordan stopped him in mid-air.

Verticality!

That’s why he’s a Defensive Player of the Year candidate.

But Henderson through that baby up with a prayer and… hey, it went in! Not a bad audible while being stone walled.

Duncan to Leonard

On a rather boring night, leave it to Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard to save St. Patrick’s Day with this fantastic alley-oop against the Knicks.

You’ve got to love old man Duncan assisting his young teammate for the slam. Go figure, those “boring” Spurs have the most exciting play of the night (we’re not still saying they are boring, right?).
