The question was asked in English and Mozgov just started answering in Russian, his native toungue. He looks like he was focused on something else so by being distracted maybe he just went with what was more natural.
Cavaliers sideline reporter Allie Clifton just kept rolling and didn’t act like it phased her at all. She didn’t stop him or correct him, just went right ahead to the next question and threw out a “nothing better than the best fans in the NBA.”
That is when Mozgov starts to answer in English and then he realizes what happened. He is embarrassed and tries to answer the question again in English, but then a giant horn sounds and Mozgov stops to wait for it to finish and it seems to last for seconds.
It is pretty hilarious to watch unfold
