After falling to the Baltimore Orioles in the Divisional Round of the playoffs last year, the Tigers are looking to bounce back and capture another World Series Trophy. To do that, they will need pitcher Justin Verlander to return to top form and the team will need all the good vibes they can get.
So far, they have the good vibes part down.
When Verlander went into a local Starbucks, he noticed a young fan wearing his t-shirt.
The unsuspecting boy didn’t see Verlander as he was ordering, so Verlander decided to take a selfie, with the young fan’s t-shirt in the background.
While there is no photo showing the reaction of the young fan, it’s easy to assume he was probably starstruck and in awe of meeting Verlander.
Credit to Verlander for showing love back to the fans and more importantly giving this young boy the moment of a lifetime.
