WWE Rumors: The Rock to show up at WrestleMania?

Rumors are rampant that The Rock is in Northern California ahead of WrestleMania 31 on Sunday night.

The Rock was in New York City this weekend for Saturday Night Live, but there has been some been some rumors he made his way across the country for WrestleMania on Sunday night.

That is right, there are rumors swirling on the interwebs that The Rock is in Northern California, the region hosting WrestleMania.

WrestleMania is the WWE’s biggest event and it isn’t strange to seem some surprise appearances or twists and turns at the event. Last year Stone Cold Steve Austin showed up and that was unexpected and a surprise. With the way the WWE Universe has dumped on this WrestleMania and how it is expected to be horrible, they could be trying to pull out all the stops to prove the nay-sayers wrong.

When looking at things that way you could rationalize why he’d show up.

The Rock of course appeared at a pay-per-view event recently to help his relative, Roman Reigns, who is in the main event tonight against Brock Lesnar. With the WWE re-signing Lesnar, it could set the table for the Brock vs Rock match that has been rumored for years. Lesnar beats down Reigns and won’t relent, The Rock comes out?

The Rock also feuded with Rusev recently, who is fighting John Cena. That could be another opportunity for him to make an appearance but doesn’t make as much sense as the Reigns-Lesnar match.

Again, these are simply just rumors that he is in the area, and no hard evidence to confirm that. Even if he was in the area, there is nothing to suggest he’d be there for any other reason than as a spectator or to support Reigns behind the scenes.

So handle this hearsay as such. It’d be wise to heed this person’s advice.
