DeRozan took on MVP candidate James Harden in a matchup featuring two of the most exciting shooting guards in the league.
Both had tremendous scoring performances in the first half, with each scoring in double digits.
DeRozan held the scoring edge between the two guards with 17 points, and capped off his performance with a big dunk.
Out on a breakaway, DeRozan showed no mercy as he glided through the air and slammed home the ball with authority.
The power of the dunk brought the Air Canada Center to its feet as the two teams competed in a tight contest.
When DeRozan got injured early on in the season, the Raptors struggled without him. His ability to make explosive plays adds a dynamic to an offense that makes the Raptors a dangerous team in the east.
Monday night, the Rockets found out just how explosive DeRozan can be.
