Seth Rollins thanked Roman Reigns as he pinned him to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The WWE held their annual WrestleMania event. It is the marquee pay-per-view of the year, kind of like their Super Bowl. The card was expected to be bad and many went into it prepared to be disappointed but the WWE pulled out all the stops to make the show great.

That included cameos from Ronda Rousey, NWO and D-X. It also included Money In The Bank winner Seth Rollins cashing in. For those unfamiliar, the winner of Money In  The Bank gets a briefcase that they can cash in for a shot at the WWE Heavyweight Championship whenever they see an opportunity or want to.

With Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns beating the crap out of each other in the main event for that very belt, Rollins saw a window of opportunity with both men indisposed. He cashed in, making it a triple threat match and was able to get a couple of quick curb stomps to seal the win.

He pinned Roman Reigns, not Lesnar, to win the belt. That was an interesting angle since they rose to prominence together as members of The Shield before Rollins broke that group apart to join the Authority.

But there is still a bond between them and as Rollins pins Reigns to win the championship, you can hear him whisper a thank you in Reigns ear. Obviously this was a genuine thank you and not heel trash talking, and it was a beautiful WrestleMania minute.
