Drake is well known for being a huge NBA fan, so it wasn’t very surprising to see him in the house for Tuesday night’s marquee NBA game featuring the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers.
However, it was a little surprising to see Drake and his leather jacket pop up behind TNT announcers Mike Fratello and Kevin Calabro while they were on air late in the game.
Well played, Drake. Well played.
As cool as the videobomb was, it probably wasn’t the most notable thing Drake did during the game. That honor goes to his incredible reactions to Stephen Curry breaking Chris Paul’s ankles.
It’ll be interesting to see what NBA game the rapper shows up to next. His No. 1 team, the Toronto Raptors, could really use his support, as they have been falling in the Eastern Conference standings since the all-star break.
As for this game, the Warriors ultimately took it 110-106, despite a 40-point performance from Blake Griffin. The victory pushed Golden State’s record to a remarkable 61-13 and dropped the Clippers’ to 49-26.
