Real Madrid soccer player Gareth Bale has shown that he possess massive talent with both his feet, and his hands, as he blows the NBA half-court challenge out of the water in this video.
Gareth Bale has given the United States’ NBA stars a run for their money with his half-court challenge attempt, and has shown that his basketball skills are streets ahead of his soccer-playing counterparts.

The Real Madrid forward netted three baskets out of five attempts, finishing on top of the table, with four other soccer players only finding the net once. Goalkeepers Brad Friedel and Petr Cech, along with Demba Ba, Andre Schurrle and Geoff Cameron all scored a single basket in their last attempts.
Afterwards Bale called out Real Madrid teammate Luka Modric and Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton to try their hand at the half-court challenge and try and beat the Welshman’s record. Is this calling players out to shoot baskets going to be the next ALS Ice Bucket Challenge type trend?
Nevertheless, three out of five is pretty impressive from Bale. The Madrid fans probably wish he’d spend more time training on the pitch than on the court however.
