One Boston Celtics fan went for a more distinguished look at the game.

NBA jerseys are different from any other sports jersey because if you’re out of shape, it doesn’t look too appealing.

Most fans go the safe route and where a t-shirt under their jersey to keep everything from hanging out. Part of the reason for the NBA’s t-shirt jersey movement was to market something toward the fans.

At the Boston Celtics game, one fan was a cut above the rest with his jersey style.

Not only did the fan wear clothing under his jersey, he wore a gigantic turtleneck sweater.

It looks like one of the biggest turtlenecks ever made, and it also looks wildly uncomfortable.

Still, the fan made quite the fashion statement and wasn’t afraid to show off his pride for the Celtics.

With the NBA following fashion trends lately, whether it’s their players post-game attire or the NBA marketing new style of jerseys, let’s hope the jersey over the turtleneck doesn’t become the next popular style fans wear to games.

Or at the least, the Celtics can turn the heat up inside their arena so turtlenecks aren’t necessary.
