Roy Hibbert trolls Jason Maxiell after missed dunk (Video)
During the Indiana Pacer’s rout of the Charlotte Hornets, Roy Hibbert lost it on the sideline after Jason Maxiell’s missed dunk.
Roy Hibbert isn’t really known for being too emotional. But after Charlotte Hornets guard, Jason Maxiell missed an easy dunk, he was overcome with joy as he cracked up on the sideline.
Hibbert isn’t really used to be on the bench. But with all the entertainment he got out of this failed dunk attempt, maybe he will be more inclined to blow teams out so he can rest there with his teammates at the end of games.
You’re really not supposed to laugh at the opposing team. Especially when they completely make a fool of themselves. But Hibbert couldn’t help himself. He even had to roll over and hide his face because of how bad he was losing it.
But to be fair, that dunk was a bunny. All he had to do was either lay it up or just get a little higher on his vertical. Unfortunately, he decided not to do either. So hilarity ensued.
This failed dunk attempt summed up the Hornets evening pretty well. The Pacers would go on to win the game 93-74, completely embarrassing the Hornets. They needed the win too. The Pacers are behind the Miami Heat by 1.5 games in the Eastern Conference playoff race. And with the postseason just weeks away every game counts.
