Hornets center Bismack Biyombo had an open hoop and couldn’t hold onto the ball as he went for the slam.
On Friday night, Charlotte Hornets big man Bismack Biyombo had an impressive dunk over Pacers center Ian Mahinmi, in which he absolutely out-muscled the reserve big man. Tonight, it was the other end of the spectrum, as Biyombo absolutely blew a chance at a monster slam.

After a missed Hornets shot, Biyombo corralled the offensive rebound and had a wide open lane to the hoop.
The 76ers defense even gave him the lane while standing there. Nerlens Noel even knew what was coming so he just threw a hand out.
Despite all that, Biyombo still managed to miss his chance as he lost the ball in the air going up for the dunk.
He just straight lost the ball going to the hoop.
Biyombo, while good defensively, has never really established an offensive game in the league since being drafted No. 7 overall in 2011.
Last night it looked like he was finally beginning to breakout offensively after an impressive dunk against the Pacers, as Biyombo put some impressive moves in the paint on display.
Tonight, it appears it’s back to square one after Biyombo’s mid-air gaffe.
