Green Bay Packers wide receiver and former Wildcat, Randall Cobb shows his support for Kentucky over Wisconsin.

Packers wideout Randall Cobb is stuck between a rock and a hard place, with Wisconsin and Kentucky meeting in the NCAA‘s Final Four contest. Though it didn’t sound like a hard decision for Cobb, who went for his old school pretty easily on Twitter.

The good thing for Cobb is he won’t have to choose one over the other in the title game, though he might want to keep undercover in Wisconsin for awhile if Kentucky prevails.

The Badgers are set to face the Wildcats at 5:49 PST on TBS at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Previously the two met in the 2014 semifinals. In that game, Wisconsin led Kentucky 40-36 by halftime. Kentucky hung tight though and with just under six seconds left, Andrew Harrison hit a deep three that won the game at 74-73.

One year later, the teams are ready for their rematch on Saturday. Kentucky had a hard time beating Notre Dame as the Irish put up the best fight the Wildcats have encountered all year. Notre Dame had a six point lead late in the second half, but then Karl-Anthony Towns went off with a 25 point night and Andrew Harrison sealed the deal with two free throws with only seconds to go. The Wildcats managed a 68-66 win.

Kentucky is only two wins from the perfect season as they now sit 38-0. Only the Badgers and the title contender stand in the way. There’s no doubt that the Irish gave Kentucky a run for their money, but it’s a bit of a stretch to say they straight up exposed their defense. The Wildcats have a great rotation of athletic defenders and they have the ability to really clamp down on an opponents offense during any given possession. They did this plenty of times late against the Irish.

What Notre Dame did do, however, is show that Kentucky, with their perfect 38-0 record, is not invincible. The Badgers have had a week to prepare and study film. They have an awesome front court with Sam Dekker scoring 50 points in their last two games and then Frank Kaminsky who is the Big Ten Player of the Year. The Badgers have a bit of a shooting advantage over the Wildcats and it’s important to note that Arizona, another good defensive team, had a hard time shutting Dekker and Kiminsky down.

It should be a good game, and admittedly, Cobb’s team would seem to have the edge.
