The Brooklyn Nets turned it on hard against the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday night, as they made another solid push for a postseason berth.
The Portland Trail Blazers are on their way to the postseason, and that was very apparent given how maxed out their chill mode was on Monday night agains the Brooklyn Nets.
Brooklyn, on the other hand, hasn’t yet clinched a berth in the postseason and are not about to let that opportunity to do so slip through their fingers. That was what they showed on Monday night when they welcomed in the Trial Blazers and lay down the hurt — hard.
It wasn’t a blowout, but it was a game that didn’t really go anywhere near expected. It’s not like Portland needed the game to make the postseason, but they also could have — ya know, showed up. Brooklyn needed the win badly and they went out and got it.
That doesn’t mean they’re going to be in the postseason, but Brooklyn is at least going down swinging.
