Skip Bayless gets trolled by SI columnist
Sports Illustrated’s Richard Deitsch trolled ESPN’s Skip Bayless on Twitter during the National Championship game.
Skip Bayless has been highly critical of the Wisconsin Badgers all tournament. His controversial sports opinion on Twitter allows for some of his followers to troll him in any way they can. Whether it is a disagreeing response tweet or a crude comment, Skip gets more feed back than he probably wants via twitter.
But rarely is it a credible sports columnist that issues the trolling. But one Sports Illustrated columnist couldn’t take it anymore and decided to do a little trolling of his own aimed at Bayless.
In fairness, Skip hasn’t really been unbiased towards Wisconsin at all the past couple of weeks. He continually counted them out, despite their impressive wins over North Carolina, Arizona, and Kentucky. But after each round, Skip continued to bet against the Badgers and let his 1.6 million followers know it.
Skip also really wanted to see Duke vs. Kentucky in the finals. He tweeted out multiple times how he thought that if there was one team who was capable of beating Kentucky, it was going to be the Blue Devils in the national title. Unfortunately for Skip, he never got to see it happen as Wisconsin beat the Wildcats in the Final Four. But that didn’t stop Bayless from sending out his poor sentiments about the game via twitter.
Even though Skip is disappointed, this game is going to be one for the history books. Both teams are moving the ball well, playing excellent defense, and diving for loose balls. The passion that college players exhibit sometimes is impressive and awesome to see. So sorry, Skip. But this game isn’t a letdown at all.
