The tournament makes players into house hold names and provides some incredible and memorable moments, of both triumphs and failures.
Matt Kuchar falls into the triumph category after he chipped an amazing shot in his opening round today Whether you understand the technique and skill behind this shot or you’re just blown away by how cool it looks, this is worth watching over and over again.
Kuchar found himself a few yards off the green and a long way away from the pin. The American decided to chip it on to the green and watch as it rolled towards the flag. Even he couldn’t have been expecting such a perfect shot, and the fans went wild in appreciation of this magnificent effort.
Kuchar is currently 1 under par and tied in 18th place, but it’s just the first of four days in the tournament. With shots like this, anything can happen for the American.
