Saturday during the third round of The Masters, Dustin Johnson chipped a shot he would soon rather forget that most people will remember and be talking about.
Standing right off the edge of the green, Johnson had a chance to make an easy chip right on the green to set up his putting game. However, he flubbed on the shot and the chipped it into the sand bunker that was only two feet off to his left.
Johnson immediately dropped his head in disbelief as he nor could anyone watching believe he just chipped a shot two feet directly into the sand bunker.
Johnson’s flub came at a huge price. He would double bogey the hole and it would drop him 10 shots back of the lead.
While everyone in golf has their bad shots, there’s not many like the one Johnson had on the edge of the green.
Even worse for Johnson, the shot came on the grandest stage of them all when it comes to golf.
