Tiger Woods nearly hits hole-in-one at the Masters (Video)
Tiger Woods came just inches away from making a hole-in-one at the Masters.
Tiger Woods had his struggles early in the Masters, but it seems he is really settling during day 3 of the golf tournament. At hole 8, Tiger came real close to sinking a hole-in-one. And when I say close, I mean just inches.
The shot did set him up for a birdie and placed him at -5 overall. Someone must have given Tiger some good advice before he started playing on Saturday. That birdie was his third in a row and he would go on to sink another birdie just two holes later.

Could Tiger be making a little push to the top of the leader board during moving day? Maybe. He is playing out of his mind. For a second there it looked as if Tiger was playing in vintage 2005 form. His short game is finally starting to click, which will prove to be critical down the stretch.
However, Jordan Speith still leads the pack at -14 over the last three days. To catch the leader will be quite the task for Tiger. But if we continue seeing more near hole-in-one shots from the veteran golfer, who knows what could happen.
If Tiger wins the Masters, it will mark his 15th major championship victory. This is just three time the all-time leader, Jack Nicklaus. Surpassing the all time great would be quite the feat for Tiger, and doing so during this years Masters would prove to be one of the greatest come back stories the sport has ever seen.
