Darrelle Revis tells troll his d*** is bigger, calls him c-word on Instagram (Photo)
Darrelle Revis is the latest professional athlete to post something regrettable on social media when he fired off at some trolls on his Instagram account.
Don’t push send is a message former NFL head coach and current ESPN analyst, Herm Edwards preaches to incoming NFL rookies, but that message didn’t sink in for New York Jets cornerback Darrelle Revis who fired off on some trolls.

Revis was tired of hearing flak from New England Patriots after he signed with the Jets in free agency after winning a Super Bowl in his first and last season with the Patriots in 2014.
The Patriots didn’t offer Revis the type of contract that the Jets gave him to return to the city and franchise where he spent the first six years of his career, so when Patriots fans said he only won a ring because of Bill Belichick and Tom Brady and that he took the money and ran back to New York, Revis fired back at the trolls.
You can see the screenshots of Revis and his interactions with the lowly trolls on his Instagram account who had nothing better to do with their time, courtesy of Deadspin below. Be warned, there is some NSFW language, so treat lightly if you are offended easily.
Pulling the “my d*** is bigger card” is pretty hilarious on one level and pretty sad on another, but that’s the type of stuff you see on social media pretty regularly. It’s also a sign that Revis isn’t immune to lowering himself down to the level of the trolls and looking highly unprofessional. Of course, the language, in particular the use of the c-word is something that is sure to get him in the most hot water, however.
Anytime a famous person posts something of this nature on social media, you have to start the countdown until they claim they were hacked. Naturally, that’s what happened here as the Jets claim Revis’ Instagram account was hacked.
How come when accounts are hacked, the hackers don’t do anything other than make absurd comments? And how dumb do they think the public is to fall for the, “I was hacked” line?
Does anyone sincerely believe Revis had his account hacked and the hacker’s only purpose of hijacking the account of the league’s top cornerback was to engage in a war of words with a few upset Patriots fans?
Nice try, Revis, but no one is buying you were hacked and you should own up to the worse you said. Apologize for the word you dropped and learn that you should never feed the trolls and move on.
