Jordan Spieth became the second-youngest player to win the Masters Sunday and tied the all-time Masters scoring record.
The 79th edition of the Masters has concluded after a fantastic week at Augusta National and 21-year-old Jordan Spieth isn’t just coming out of it with a Green Jacket, but also with plenty of records that he now owns at Augusta National.

Spieth won his first major tournament in stunning fashion after he set the first round Masters scoring record with a 64. After a 66 in round two and a 70 in the third round, Spieth was 16-under par and set the record for the best 54 hole score in Masters history.
On Sunday, Spieth nailed his 26th birdie of the tournament, defeating Phil Mickelson’s birdie record of 25 that he set in 2001. Spieth’s 18-under total score also ties the all-time best score in Masters history that was set by Tiger Woods in 1997, as a 21-year-old. Spieth is also the second-youngest player to ever win at Augusta National, behind Woods.
Jordan Spieth has had a fantastic 2015 with two wins and seven top 10 finishes so far and he moves to No. 2 in the world, now trying to chase down Rory McIlroy at No. 1.
