The Houston Astros rotation is doing pretty well this season. Collin McHugh, Dallas Keuchel and Roberto Henandez are all 1-0 with a sub-2.00 ERA. My streaming pick for Monday also has a sub-2.00 ERA. His matchup makes him a great pick to provide you with good pitching stats. If you need a streamer for Monday, use Scott Feldman.
Feldman’s first start went as well as you could imagine. The only downside is that the team didn’t provide him with any run support. Feldman went 6.2 innings, allowing 5 hits and one earned run while striking out five with a 1.35 ERA, .750 WHIP.

His 2014 season was his first with the Astros. He went 8-11 with a 3.74 ERA (career best) and a 1.303 WHIP (best since 2011). Against his opponent on Monday, the Oakland Athletics, Feldman is 5-8 with a 5.55 ERA, 1.495 WHIP and 71 strikeouts.
The benefit of Feldman facing the current A’s lineup is that they are without some of their former power hitters. Josh Donaldson and Yoenis Cespedes are no longer with the team. The team’s best hitter, Marcus Semien, is one of two players with six RBI.
Feldman is possibly the most-available pitcher I’ve recommended. He is owned in just 0.2 percent of ESPN.com leagues. He has the skill to have quality starts on a weekly basis, but his lack of strikeouts and high WHIP put him on the outs in Rotisserie leagues. However, in 14, 16 or AL-only leagues, Feldman deserves to be owned.
If you decide to pick up Feldman as a streaming option on Monday, do it with confidence. He will have an excellent outing, 7 innings, six hits, two earned runs, five strikeouts. The only thing you should worry about is if the lineup can plate more than one run for him. A quality start will be guaranteed, but a win is questionable.
