Tim Hardaway Jr. hits game-winning shot against Magic (video)
By Andrew Ross
It was only fitting that a terrible game ended with a game-winning three-pointer in the final seconds.
In case you didn’t hear, the New York Knicks won a game last night and the fabric of the universe didn’t tear apart.

Both the Knicks and the Orlando Magic shot well below 40 percent from the floor, and the two teams actually combined their (awful) powers to create the worst quarter in NBA history. The Knicks and Magic only scored 15 points in the second quarter, and that’s the fewest combined points for a quarter since the shot clock era. Props to all of those people out there that were able to watch the entirety of that quarter. That’s the type of stuff you put on a resume.
For as bad of a game as it was, New York and Orlando were still able to give us an entertaining ending. After a very sloppy possession, Hardaway was able to launch a three-pointer with only 14 seconds left that would give the Knicks only their 16th win of the season.
Hardaway only made 4-of-16 (25 percent) of his shots, but it was the last bucket that counted the most. He finished the game with 13 points and four assists.
After the rare win, the Knicks are now tied with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the worst record in the NBA at 16-64.
