Prior to tossing out the first pitch at the Red Sox’s home opener on Monday, Patriots QB Tom Brady took some batting practice with Pedro Martinez

More from Boston Red Sox

During the Boston Red Sox’s home opener on Monday against the Washington Nationals, New England Patriots Super Bowl-winning quarterback Tom Brady was a pretty prominent part of the festivities. Of course, one way he was involved with the Red Sox was less than positive, as we found out that he’s not all that good at getting the ball from the pitcher’s mound to home plate.

However, not all was bad for the Boston-area NFL star, as he got to experience a moment that all Red Sox fans can only dream of.

He not only got to take batting practice in the cage, but had the ball thrown to him from none other than another Boston champion, Pedro Martinez.

Basically, there’s a lot of jealous Boston residents right now, because it’s a dream for Red Sox fans to hit some balls thrown to them from the great Pedro Martinez.

Then, to make the day even cooler for Brady in Fenway, he also chilled with David Ortiz for a little bit as well.

Now if you are one of the folks that happen to be a “hater” of Mr. Brady, then all of this really grinds your gears, because he got to pretty much enjoy a dream day inside Fenway Park.
