The NBA playoff picture is settling, and the NBA has released a partial look at what the schedule will look like when the postseason tips off this weekend.

We have just one more night of regular season basketball left, and a few playoff spots remain up for grabs. The No. 8 seeds in both conference have yet to be clinched and there are still teams higher up who are jockeying for prime positioning.

Nevertheless, with the postseason just a few days away, the NBA is starting to get it’s ducks in a row and are preparing the official playoff schedule for fans to build their summer around.

According to Marc J. Spears from Yahoo! Sports, the partial NBA playoff schedule has been released with the top seeds learning when they will tip off.

The Warriors and Hawks are the top two seeds in their conferences, and both will be tipping off their trip to the postseason on opposite days. Cleveland is the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference and will hit the hardwood on Sunday afternoon in a rumored 3:30pm ET time slot which would air on ABC. The remainder of these games are slated to air on ESPN or TNT but the finer details have yet to be ironed out.

It’s unclear who is going to tip off when, and that won’t be determined until after the playoff picture is totally set. What we can probably expect is the Warriors to tip off late on Saturday night with teams like Portland and San Antonio settling into the late slots throughout the week.

The NBA Playoff picture is coming together, and while there are still a few open slots left to be claimed, the announcements of when the dates when the games will be played is yet another reminder that the playoffs are almost here.
