NBA Playoff Picture: Updated Bracket, Raptors Move Into No. 3 Seed?

The NBA Playoff Picture is starting to take shape, and the Toronto Raptors are in a position to lock up the No. 3 seed in the East and knock the Bulls back.
As the final night of the NBA regular season plays out, teams all over the league are either trying to make the postseason or are jockeying for postseason positioning. The Toronto Raptors fall into the latter category and are in a position to take control of the No. 3 seed in the East after their win against the Hornets in their season finale.
If the Chicago Bulls beat the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night, then they’ll grab the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference and set themselves up with a first-round matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks.
However, as it stands now the Raptors could control the No. 3 seed as the Hawks are taking it to the Bulls and not making their quest for the postseason an easy one. Should the Hawks beat the Bulls, then this is what the NBA playoff picture will look like:
This is ideal for the Raptors as it means they’d get a desirable showdown with the Bucks in the first-round but it would mean a second-round matchup against the Cavaliers.
