“Woke up an optimist. Sun was shining, I’m positive.” The Cavaliers will win because…

I think the Cavs might be starting to peak at the right time. LeBron is fully healthy, which they needed, and Kyrie is playing exceptionally well. I loved their pickup of Timofey Mozgov, and I think he’s been the real difference maker for that team. J.R. Smith has been giving teams the pipe from beyond the arc and it really seems like they’re buying into the coaching of David Blatt, which is huge. It might not be a sweep, but a gentlemans sweep could be in order.

“Too many Urkels on your team that’s why your wins low.” The Cavaliers will lose because…

It’s tough to think of a real reason why they’d lose this series. Maybe if LeBron suddenly breaks every bone in his body or is abducted by aliens hired by Danny Ainge. Or, you know, the Celtics could just play out of their minds and win four games… Okay. That won’t happen. In all seriousness, it would take a lot for them to lose the series, most likely something catastrophic happening to LeBron, but if not, they’ll be fine.

“Woke up an optimist. Sun was shining, I’m positive.” The Celtics will win because…

Brad Stevens’ brilliance will not be limited to the regular season. Jae Crowder will stifle LeBron. Kevin Love will struggle under the pressure of his first postseason appearance. Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley will frustrate Kyrie. The Celtics steal game one in Cleveland, and all of a sudden the city of Cleveland is paralyzed with nervousness. Isaiah Thomas catches fire. The Celtics’ tenacity flusters the Cavs, and, channeling the spirit of Baron Davis and the “We Believe” Warriors, the Celtics pull off the upset of the decade.
