Kris Bryant struck out on 3 pitches in his first at bat and the world of twitter reacted with the BUST call.

Kris Bryant made his major league debut with the Chicago Cubs on Friday against the San Diego Padres and the world is staring at his every move at the plate. Before the game, fans were claiming him to be the savior for the franchise. After his first at bat in the major league, the fans are already calling for his head. Welcome to the majors kid!

Here are some of the reactions on Kris Bryant after his first at bat in which he struck out on 3 pitches.

The kid is batting cleanup against one of the top pitchers in the game, James Shields, and the world already is calling him overrated and a bust. That is what big league pitching looks like rookie!

We know that a lot of “bust” and “overrated” talks are playful, but what happens is he does it again in his next at bat or if he strikes out in all of his opportunities at the plate today? What if he goes hitless on the day? There will be a lot of pressure on the kid to get that first hit out of the way. He may want to try making contact with a pitch first and then he can start thinking about a possible hit. The pressure is building. Will he still be the savior at the end of the day?

After 1 AB, Kris Bryant is looking at a K. Well, swinging at it.
