Nick Young compares Lakers season to nightmare he woke up from
By Troy Foster
Nick Young calls the 2014 – 2015 Lakers season a nightmare.
It has been a down and down road for the Los Angeles Lakers this year. Nick Young is not holding back going so far as to call this season a nightmare.
He was confronted recently by TMZ to share some thoughts about the end of the season. Nick Young explained that the end of the season was like waking up from a bad dream.
Nick Young is pretty candid and unabashedly speaks his mind. When asked about how he felt about the young players going to a night club after the last game, Young responded “cut’em some slack they deserve to unwind a bit.”
Swaggy P has a reputation that can summed up in the 3 pointer that he walked away from when he missed. I personally see him as a decent guy and maybe has a bit of unfit image. If you are interested in developing a more rounded view on him check out this article.
Nick Young is being honest though, this has been an extended nightmare that started really early with injury to both Julius Randall and Kobe. Since then it’s been a revolving door of players from the D-League coming in for a few games here and there. The only thing of note have been quotes of Byron Scott and the possibility to recruit new players at some fictitious distant date in the future.
Young also mentioned that he thought Jordan Clarkson had a good season with the Lakers as well as Vander Blue’s performance in the last two games. It is hard to evaluate whether next season is going to be as disappointing as this one, it will have a lot to live down too. Hopefully with a good pick in this draft, and getting Randall and Kobe back, they can not be historically bad.
Until then, I’m sure we are going to get a good dose of Swaggy P quotes and Kobe talking about recruiting people.
