NBA Playoffs 2015: Watch all of Derrick Rose’s best plays from Game 1 return (Video)
By Josh Hill
The Chicago Bulls rolled over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night, as Derrick Rose returned in a massively unexpected way to lead his team the way he used to.
For the last three years, the Chicago Bulls have been waiting on Derrick Rose to return and learn how to stand up without tearing his knees to shreds in the process. It has been a struggle, but on Saturday night in Game 1 of his first playoff game since 2012, Rose showed that he’s very much the same player he’s always been.
Rose hasn’t been the same player, but he’s apparently been saving it for the right moment and that was tonight. He rolled out the old Derrick Rose we were used to and it was marvelous to watch.

It’s like he just rode in with a Delorean and brought the old Derrick Rose back from the future, as he was solid gold in every way on Saturday night and it has basketball fans nostalgic about the way things were before he was injured.
Simply put, Derrick Rose went nuts on Saturday night and proved that he is truly back.
There was doubt in the minds of Bulls fans as to whether or not he would return and be the player he was pre-ACL injury in 2012 but all of those fears were put to rest on Saturday night. The Bulls may not end this season with an NBA Finals victory, but they won the only battle they were fighting for a majority of the season — getting Derrick Rose on two healthy knees and producing on a contending team.
