Taj Gibson elbows O.J. Mayo twice and picks up a flagrant (Video)
Bulls forward Taj Gibson shook Bucks defenders off of him as he elbowed O.J. Mayo in the liver and in the neck and picked up a flagrant for his troubles.
Getting anywhere near a player corralling a rebound is a bad idea.

Unfortunately for Bucks guard O.J. Mayo, he got a little too close to Bulls forward Taj Gibson.
As Gibson was holding onto a rebound with multiple Bucks defenders around him, he began swinging elbows like a wild man and had an angry off look on his face.
He started low with the body blows, hitting Mayo right in the area of the liver, and then went up high and swung his elbow full force into the neck of Mayo out of frustration.
Mayo got no love at all from his former college teammate.
He immediately went to the ground and the refs went straight to the review table.
Gibson was charged with a Flagrant One and the Bucks got two shots and the ball back. It’s never a good idea to lose your cool on the floor, as it gives the other team a chance to put points on the board.
Gibson is also very lucky he wasn’t ejected as the replay isn’t pretty when it shows his reaction as he goes up high to knock down Mayo.
The Bulls might be the favorites, but in the playoffs, nothing is guaranteed and they need everyone on the floor.
