The Golden State Warriors are the “favorite” to win the 2015 NBA Championship.

That distinction comes with the territory when a team wins 67 games in the regular season, but even in a year when the Western Conference was unquestionably loaded, the Warriors have stood above the rest. Golden State notched those 67 wins by claiming 39 of their 41 home games, and the Dubs triumphed over the rest of the West by 11 full games in the standings by nature of a double-digit advantage in point differential per 100 possessions.

It must be stated, from the get-go, that the Warriors are the favorite for a reason, but there are assuredly factors that could swing things in a mighty way, and putting the cart before the horse is dangerous here.

Let’s take a look at some of those reasons.
