The San Francisco Giants took on the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday, but before all of that got underway, the Giants had quite the important ceremony to get through.
You know, like getting their bling for their World Series win last season.
Yes, prior to the game starting on Saturday between the Giants and the D-Backs, the team received their World Series rings, and quite frankly, they’re some sweet pieces of jewelry.
Wow, that right there is some serious bling. But, when you win your third World Series of the decade, like the Giants did last season, you deserve to have the rings looking nicer and nicer.
The Giants got into the MLB Playoffs last season by qualifying for the Wild Card Round, and then through stout pitching and some clutch hitting, they made it to the World Series once again, where they defeated the Cinderella story that was the Kansas City Royals.
The good news for the ring makers is that, since the Giants seem to only win the big one during even-numbered years, they have a lot of time to try and top this before 2016 hits. Although, from the looks of this ring, that might be pretty hard to do.
