LeBron James threw a half-court pass to Kevin Love who slammed it home better than anyone could have imagined.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics are squaring off in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. In the third quarter we were treated to one of the best highlights of the NBA Playoffs so far, a Kevin Love-LeBron James alley-oop.

Now you’re probably assuming that Kevin Love threw another incredible outlet pass to James who slammed it home in emphatic fashion, but you’d be wrong. It was James who heaved a half-court pass to Love who was down court.

Not only did Love catch it and slam it home, he reversed slammed it home with his back to the rim. This is some NBA Jam type of stuff that you could only dream of in reality, especially when considering that the dunker was Love.

I’m still trying to comprehend how this highlight has James and Love swapping places, everything about this play says their roles should be reversed.

Here is another angle:

And another angle because we need more.

The rest of the internet was as shocked as we were:

If the Cavaliers are playing like this, there is a very slim chance of any team knocking them off en route to Cleveland’s first championship in a long time.
