1. player. 20.
The Lakers have long been a rumored destination for the services of Rajon Rondo.

It also just so happens that they will have the cap space for him this summer and he’s a free agent.

He is also good friends with Kobe Bryant and the two have been seen out together many times before. If there’s anyone on the court, that Rondo would respect and listen to, it’s the Lakers great.

Next season, the Lakers will have Bryant back, along with Julius Randle back and potentially a Top-5 pick. Adding Rondo to that mix would suddenly make the Lakers look a better on paper than they’re currently projected to look.

The Lakers could also look to make cap room and make a move for Kevin Love, another player that has been in rumors connected to the Lakers several times before.

In Los Angeles, Kobe would be the man, but Rondo would be allowed to do his thing and not have to worry about scoring. He would have the large market and all the attention he could desire. Plus after a season like the one the Lakers just had, if the Lakers have any semblance of a winning season, Rondo will suddenly look like one of the best acquisitions of any players in the league.

Rondo to the Lakers just makes too much sense on paper.
. Pacific Division. Western Conference. Los Angeles Lakers
