Subway gives us nightmare fuel with Marcus Mariota bust made of food (Photo)
The endorsements keep rolling in for Marcus Mariota who signed with Subway and even got bust made out of sandwich ingredients.
Life is good for Marcus Mariota. He’s from Hawaii, he won the Heisman Trophy after a record-breaking career at Oregon, he’s days away from being a high first-round pick in the NFL Draft and Subway made a sandwich resembling his face.
Don’t you just wanna dive in and dive a bite out of his cheek and get some Subway goodness in your mouth after looking at that creation. I mean it looks like a prop from some cheesy horror movie.
What ingredients did they use to make that head mold? I don’t think this item falls under the $5 foot long menu.
This isn’t the first time Subway has created a bust out of one of their endorsers as they did the same for Robert Griffin III when he signed on as an endorser of their product, but it doesn’t mean it’s any less shocking.
But it is an honor to represent Subway and have them create a bust out of stuff you’d find inside a foot long, but based on the picture, it doesn’t look like Mariota is too eager to chow down.
Mariota joins other athletes such as, Mike Trout, Clayton Kershaw, Robert Griffin III,Justin Tuck, Russell Westbrook, Pele, Carl Edwards and Michael Phelps.
As for me, I get the same thing every visit to Subway and get a toasted foot long roasted chicken breast on italian herbs and cheese bread with pepper jack cheese and as many toppings as they can stuff inside the bread as possible.
Maybe I should make a special trip to Subway and order the Mariota bust.
You make the call: Is this sandwich art or creepy as hell?
