ESPN experts Mel Kiper and Todd McShay went on live television on Thursday night to give their final NFL Mock Draft, and here are the first round results

We are now just one week away from the 2015 NFL Draft, which means that Thursday night on ESPN we were treated to the final NFL Mock Draft selections from Todd McShay and Mel Kiper.

There weren’t really many surprises to get things started off in this one, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers selected Jameis Winston to be their quarterback of the future. With one week before the draft, while there are some that believe the team is still skeptical, it’s believed that Winston will be off the board first when the real time for the NFL Draft rolls around.

Of course, with that being the case with the first pick, the ESPN experts see the Tennessee Titans selecting a quarterback of their own in Marcus Mariota, although it must be remembered that there is still a chance that the Titans and Chargers could pull off a deal for Philip Rivers.

As for other notable projections, despite his failed drug test at the combine, Randy Gregory to the New Orleans Saints at No. 13 with their first of two picks on the round might shock some people. Since the failed test, the thought process is that he could drop a little bit, although that’s not how these guys are seeing it.

Also, Todd Gurley to the New York Giants seems pretty intriguing. With the emergence of Odell Beckham last season, Eli Manning would love to have even more offensive weapons at his disposal, and there’s a chance that the former Georgia running back can do some damage in that offense.

Speaking of top running backs in this draft, McShay and Kiper see Melvin Gordon heading to play for the Arizona Cardinals, which could mean bad news for teams in the NFC West. We saw last season just how dangerous this team can be when healthy, especially on offense, so you know the addition of Gordon can only make this squad that much more deadly.

It was certainly exciting to watch this NFL Mock Draft, as always, and here’s a look at the complete first round projections from Mel Kiper and Todd McShay.
