Baseball games are long and boring for the most part. How boring are they exactly?
So boring that Yasiel Puig is in the dugout reading a book… a BOOK!
I’m sure Dodgers fans would much rather watch Puig do a few bat flips than reading books. He is an athlete after all, why does he need to read… during a professional sporting event in which he is competing.
It makes you wonder what Puig is reading exactly? Don Quixote, The Yankee Years, Jose Canseco’s book blowing the whistle on steroid abusers in baseball?
Maybe he isn’t reading, maybe it is a diary or journal of sorts. The book appears to be a generic blue without a label to identify it as the latest best seller.
In all seriousness, it is probably something related to the team, stats, shifts, plays, whatever. Guess we can’t down on him to much for potentially doing something productive for the betterment of the team besides flipping bats and getting into it with pitchers.
Who would’ve thought Puig had a studious Peyton Manning side?
