Tickets for the Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao fight are selling for $141K on Stubhub already.

The wait is over, the coveted tickets for Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao fight on May 2nd hit the markets. They then sold out a matter of seconds later, literally about 60 at most.

That means anyone who wants to attend the fight needs to reach into their wallets and find some over-priced tickets on re-selling sites, like Stubhub.

Curious what they’re going for? They’re going for an insane amount on Stubhub, that’s how much.

In all fairness, that is the high end but that is just ridiculous. Given the quantities, that means there are 13 tickets available for over $100,000. That could buy houses, condos, and be sizable down payments.

They are floor seats which is pretty cool, but sometimes floor seats offer the worst views anyways. To get a ticket in section 13, which is probably the best view, you’d have to pay almost $71,000…. per ticket..

Now, what about the lower end of things?

A little bit more reasonable in comparison, you can get a seat for $5,445.75 a ticket.

It really speaks to how badly sporting fans want to see this event, which is probably a singular event in history. The only way I could imagine we’d get a rematch is if Mayweather were to lose to Pacquiao, a very real possibility.

Now the scary part is that this fight is viewed as five years too late by a lot of people. What would ticket prices have been if they had fought five years ago, before Pacquiao ever lost?

$300,000?

Kind of surprised that someone as money hungry as Mayweather didn’t take advantage of that payday back then, but he had a lot to lose.

The rest of us will have to shell out $100 to watch it at home, which is a bargain given these ticket prices.
