Boston Celtics fan flips ‘the bird’ during Kevin Love interview (Video)
By Troy Foster
Boston Celtics fans may want Kevin Love to play for them in the future, but right now they can’t help but flip him the bird after he beats their team.
After yesterday’s game against the Boston Celtics, Kevin Love gave a post-game interview that featured a man with not much mystery, but a large helping of strong feelings only hand gestures can display.
It was apparent after the game and a few drinks he decided to not bottle up these feelings or quell them with support from friends but to display them to the world.
Meet generic Boston sports fan No. 5482. He enjoys short walks to the bar, aimless anger, and making enemies out of strangers.
Oh, and flipping off people who are doing live interviews.
I’m more surprised this isn’t the standard backdrop to any interview in Boston. On your third time watching this, check out his “friend?”

The bro that is trying to get into the camera shot looks to be teetering on the brink of drunk and wasted. It’s something made distinct by the fact that it appears he is looking into nothing. He’s officially reached the “dead stare, struggling to walk” phase of being drunk.
This level is the “stare into nothing, and wear a child-like look of wonder on your face”
At any rate, I could only assume that following this Emmy Award winning moment, Boston sports fan #5482 went to the “bah”, got a couple of cold ones and conferred with friends on just how appreciative they are about this Celtics season. They probably relished in the fact that they even appeared in the playoffs, given this is a rebuilding year and they have a young team.
They probably swapped laughter and back-slaps while reveling in the fact that, despite one of the most talent-scarce teams they have had in years, they had a coach of year candidate and solid contribution from rookies and sophomores alike.
Nah, probably not.
