The Chicago White Sox and Kansas City Royals decided that they’d make things a little interesting on Thursday night with a good old fashioned brawl

Thursday night the Chicago White Sox took on the Kansas City Royals, and well, things got a little interesting late in the game. And by interesting, we mean that they were trying to kill one another after an incident involving, of all people, Yordano Ventura. Yes, shocking, we know.

With Venturan on the mound in the bottom of the 7th inning, he had some words for Adam Eaton after a hard grounder came back to him. Well, of course, Eaton was not taking kindly to this.

And, well, as they say…from there “IT WAS ON!”

When you watch the entire sequence in its entirety, you can see where the tempers would have flared up a little bit. However, when you see what Ventura actually said, you might also understand why Eaton wanted to make sure this issue was resolved.

Yep, that’ll always be the trigger for a brawl like this.

When all was said and done, a total of five players were ejected from the game and you can bet that some fines are on the way too.
