The NBA Playoffs thus far–through one week–have really been about buzzer-beater shots and power dunks (to some extent that’s what basketball has been about for the past 25-30 years).

Taj Gibson of the Chicago Bulls decided it was time to get in on the action himself. And so in the third quarter against the Milwaukee Bucks he threw down a fiercesome one-handed dunk, which we get to see from above the basket–a really cool angle indeed.

Gibson, always a high IQ basketball player, ran the semi-break and found a spot along the baseline. He was benefited by playing with another high IQ player, the son of the coach, Mike Dunleavy, who saw him immediately upon his cut across the lane.

Gibson, and his angular and athletic yet also powerful body did the rest, hammering home a dunk which will echo throughout Milwaukee for the remainder of the evening, regardless of the final score.

The Bulls, though, have committed 24 turnovers as of the time of writing this, and trail by seven in the fourth quarter, as they try to sweep the Bucks in the first round.
