The NBA playoffs are a time for intense matchups and flared tempers with everything on the line as the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks proved that on Saturday evening.

Chicago has been absolutely dominating the series between the two teams, leading 3-0 heading into Game 4. The Bucks have been looking for anything to get excited about and going into halftime tied with the Eastern Conference’s third-best team is something to be proud of for a team down three games.

However, the Bucks are playing with a major chip on their shoulders, not taking anything from the favored Bulls.

This was evident when Bucks’ guard Jerryd Bayless wasn’t cool with taking a forearm shiver from Bulls’ guard Aaron Brooks in the first half. The two players exchanged a few shoves and got in each other’s faces before being split up by refs and teammates.

The two teams may not have a big history of being rivals, but both are fighting for the same goal and only one can move along to the next round. It’s looking like the Bulls are going to win the series, even if it’s not a sweep, but the Bucks have a bright future and it will only get brighter with the return of Jabari Parker next season.

Keep your eye out for more shoving matches as the game moves on.
