The New York Yankees and New York Mets are squaring off in a Subway Series match up on Sunday night. As always, things are tense in the series and there are bragging rights on the line.
And all the action wasn’t even occurring on the field.
The Mets were doing some innocent live tweeting of the game on their Twitter account.
The Yankees responded, urging the Mets to call them by their mascot.
All they really did was set the plate for the Mets to respond back and troll the heck out of them. The Yankees might have significantly more World Series championships than the Mets, but they got owned on this one.
