50 Cent explains why he and Floyd Mayweather ended their long-running disagreement.

It seems as though 50 and Mayweather are no longer at odds. Late last week, the rapper and the boxing champion were spotted together in Vegas, headed to Mayweather’s gym for a work out. The next day, 50 posted a picture of the two on his Instagram.

It seems as though these two are officially bros again.

But why, exactly, were 50 and Mayweather at odds anyway? Did Mayweather turn down 50’s Bacardi? Maybe 50 forgot to invite Mayweather to the candy shop?

Not exactly. 50 has been somewhat critical of Floyd over the years, saying, among other things, that the boxer is “scared to death” of Pacquiao.

According to 50, though, it turns out that Floyd just does not take criticism well – at all. Apparently, he is not used to being criticized too often, at least by people he considers his friends

When discussing the issue with MTV, 50 said, “my younger brother happens to be the best fighter in the world. He can make $200 million in 36 minutes. How do you tell him what to do? You don’t. Sometimes he’s not right. You’ll tell him, ‘You’re not right.’ And then, you have that argument until he starts to look at it and say, ‘He was right.”

So, basically, Floyd can’t handle being wrong or having anyone tell him so, even if he is.

Come on, Floyd. You’d think that one of boxing’s post prolific champions wouldn’t let something like a little needling get under his skin. Turns out Floyd is physically mature and extremely wealthy but also emotionally immature. Well, we think we knew that already.

Thank goodness Floyd and 50 figured this out. Now Mayweather can devote all of his attention to defeating Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas on Saturday. Although I, for one, am hoping he doesn’t.
