With the NFL Draft just 24 hours away now, it’s time for some of the experts to make their final picks as to who they have a particular team taking in the event. Of course, one of these experts is the NFL Network’s Mike Mayock, who will hold his final mock draft on Thursday.

One of the teams that he will be making a pick for is the defending champion New England Patriots, who are obviously coming off of the most successful season of anyone last year. The Pats went on a tear through the playoffs and it culminated in a dramatic win over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl 49. With that being the case, the Patriots hold the No. 32 pick in this year’s first round.

In last year’s mock draft, Mayock had the Patriots selecting tight end Jace Amaro, who as we would come to find out ended up being selected earlier by the New York Jets. So, this was another instance where Mayock was incorrect when it comes to the most polarizing team in the league, so he’ll be looking to make a reprieve this season.
