With the 2015 NFL Draft about to get under way, what picks do the Philadelphia Eagles own this year?

The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to build on a 10-6 season after barely missing the playoffs last year with the 2015 NFL Draft. Many think that Chip Kelly may try and do some wheeling and dealing come draft day. He does have some solid picks to work with this year, and if he wants to win now he might have to sacrifice one or two of them to get the player he wants.

Here is the draft order assigned to the Eagles.

Rd 1: Pick no. 20

Rd 2: Pick no. 52

Rd 3: Pick no. 84

Rd 4: Pick no. 113

Rd 5: Pick no. 145

Rd 5: Pick no. 156

Rd 6: Pick no. 196

Rd 7: Pick no. 237

The Eagles fourth round pick is from San Francisco and the Eagles fifth round pick is from St. Louis.

All eyes will be on Coach Chip Kelly as he finally puts an end to all the rumors surrounding him and his desire to acquire the quarterback he recruited to come to Oregon during his time as head coach there in Marcus Mariota. As if having five quarterbacks on the current Eagles roster wasn’t enough already. So we will see if Kelly attempts to trade up from that no. 20 overall pick to try and snag the coveted prize that is Marcus Mariota.

Whatever Chip Kelly decides on doing, I am sure it will be in the best interest of the Eagles organization. After all, Kelly hasn’t wasted anytime making the transition for college to the NFL by putting up two winning records thus far including one trip to the playoffs. Depending on how he does this year in the NFL Draft, maybe we will see the Eagles back in the playoffs next season.
