The former Death Row Records CEO is currently in prison after being charged with murder and attempted murder surrounding a hit-and-run incident which occurred in January 2015.

Knight is accused of running over Terry Carter and Cle “Bone” Sloan with his truck. Carter was killed, while Sloan received serious bodily injuries.

Bail was originally set at $25 million but has since been reduced to $10 million. The former music mogul could face life in prison if convicted, but his lawyer has confirmed that the prosecution has not presented any evidence that his client was driving the vehicle in question.

CCTV footage used in the case clearly shows the vehicle running over one man, but it is unclear who is behind the wheel.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. has an estimated net worth of $280 million and has stated in a press conference on Tuesday that the fight will make him $200 million. He’s certainly not short of cash, and he’s never been shy to let people know about it.

Update: In an update to this story, TMZ has learned from Floyd’s entourage that he will in fact not be posting the bail for Knight, and furthermore the two have not been friends for quite some time.
