The NFL draft rarely disappoints and tonight is no different as a lot of teams made some exciting picks, Redskins fans took to twitter to voice their opinion on their teams’ pick
The NFL draft is one of the biggest nights of the sporting year because it captivates football fans and novices alike. Everybody likes a feel good story and what’s more feel good than a bunch of college kids getting to live out their dream by being selected to play in the NFL.
Sometimes fans don’t agree with their teams’ picks but that’s all part of the excitement and the fun that goes along with the draft. You might not like your teams’ pick on day one but they get some chances to redeem themselves over the week.
Redskins fans are still trying to get over a pretty miserable 2014 season and it’s a night that they’ve been looking forward to for a few years as it’s their first time in the first round since 2012 when they traded out.
Fans around the world have reacted to their decision making in the first round tonight, here’s the best from twitter:
Is it just me or does Brandon Scherff look like a fat JJ Watt? #NFLDraft

No matter if he ends up at tackle or guard, now former #Hawkeyes OT Brandon Scherff has All-Pro potential forever.

Just cried a little watching Brandon Scherff getting drafted. If that doesn't scream "get a grip" I'm not sure what does. #NFLDraft

Can't believe that the @Redskins not only picked in the 1st round, but that they got human bulldozer Brandon Scherff.

I was really hoping the Giants were going to get a chance to draft Brandon Scherff, but instead he goes to the Redskins.
