Brandon McCarthy sends out hilarious Tommy John surgery tweet (Photo)
After Tommy John surgery ended his season, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Brandon McCarthy has been keeping his spirits up with some humor.
When the Dodgers signed Brandon McCarthy, it was to bolster the back of the rotation as they make a run toward a World Series.

Unfortunately for both McCarthy and the Dodgers, his season came to an early end after a torn UCL ended his season early.
The injury required Tommy John surgery and it’s going to be a while before he can throw a baseball again. While that’s sad news for McCarthy and the Dodgers, the injury isn’t stopping McCarthy from keeping his spirits up.
McCarthy, who is widely regarded as one of the best athletes on Twitter because of his hilarious tweets, decided to tweet about his experience with the pain pills he took for his elbow surgery.
Hilariously McCarthy made a tweet about the effects the pain pills were having on his motor skills.
It appears that the pain pills affected other tweets as well.
McCarthy might want to hire an IT guy for his computer issues while he’s dealing with the pain pills apparently. Also why is he up at 2 AM?
What’s a veranda?
Always a good sport, he even defended his elbow for tearing.
Brandon McCarthy might not be able to take the mound for the Dodgers this year, but he’s going to be able to tweet comedy gold and that’s great news for all baseball fans.
Just as long as he is able to regain some motor skills and make some translatable tweets.
