The NBA Playoffs are starting to wrap up their first-round series, and the Hawks vs. Nets showdown is looking like it could go a full seven games.

The Brooklyn Nets are hanging on in a series they were supposed to have no chance in, as they’re on the verge of taking the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference a full seven games. Right now, they need to get past Game 6 on Friday night to force action in Atlanta on Sunday afternoon.

Brooklyn needs a win right now, and they have the advantage of getting it in front of a home crowd.

That’s the trap that the Atlanta Hawks are in, as they’ve allowed the Nets to get back into this series in a way that is dangerous to the Hawks aspirations to make the NBA Finals. It’s all Atlanta’s fault too, as they’ve had the pieces to close out the Nets this series but for one reason or another, they haven’t been able to do it yet.

This is all something that Brooklyn is feeding off of and it’s something that they’re going to feed off of in front of a friendly crowd that wants to see them push for Game 7 this weekend.
