Randy Gregory is vowing revenge on all the teams that don’t draft him this year and let him slip past them.

After spending most of the year toward the top of mock drafts, Randy Gregory’s draft status went from certain to uncertain after failing a drug test at the combine.

Thursday, Gregory watched several names come off the board except for his as he went undrafted in the first-round because of teams worried about spending a high pick on him.

Now, Gregory who isn’t happy about not being selected, is ready to unleash a furious vengeance upon those teams that don’t end up selecting him in the draft this year.

He also promises to give everything he has for the team that does end up taking a chance on him.

"“I didn’t sleep last night because I feel like I let my family and the people who believe in me down, and I’m sorry for that. But I’m going to use this as fuel.“The franchise that drafts me won’t have to worry about me off the field, but the teams that didn’t select me will have to worry about me on the field.”“I didn’t sleep last night because I feel like I let my family and the people who believe in me down, and I’m sorry for that. But I’m going to use this as fuel.“The franchise that drafts me won’t have to worry about me off the field, but the teams that didn’t select me will have to worry about me on the field.”"

Those are big words from the pass rushing prospect, and certainly words that could help him get drafted on the second day of the draft by a team that thinks he can be a productive member.

There’s absolutely no doubt that Gregory is a special talent with his elite ability to get after the quarterback. It’s whether he can stay clean and not fail any drug tests that has teams worried. After Dolphins linebacker Dion Jordan was suspended this week, it served as a reminder just how careful teams have to be with their picks.

However the difference is that Jordan was a high first-round pick. Now that the draft is heading into new rounds, teams might be willing to take the chance and spend a pick on a player that can get after a quarterback, which is a position that usually comes at a premium in today’s NFL.

It’s very clear that Randy Gregory is upset, but if he can get himself in order, he has a chance to prove general managers and coaches around the league wrong for not picking him.
